Seeing a prick of blood Stonekit realized he had a harder grip on his brother than he thought he had. He quickly let go of his brothers ear and sniffed it. "Sorry Tigerkit," he mewed softly. He hadn't meant to hurt his brother. He had to learn to be more careful next time. Getting idea he ran over to the moss and tugged a clump lose and tossed it at Tigerkit. "Catch," he yowled after tossing it. He stood on his back legs. he wobbled for a few seconds before stumbling back to the ground going head over heals right into his mothers stomach.

Tigerkit shrugged it off. As Stonekit let go of his ear, he flicked it back and forth a few times, making sure that nothing was hurt, then reared up to catch the flying ball of moss. His claws just snagged the flying bundle, and he landed back on the ground. He laughed as Stonekit tumbled into their mother, then padded over, the moss still on his claws.
Alusia smiled soothingly at Fogkit and Spottedkit as Stonekit rolled into her. She pushed the kit upright again with her nose, "Be careful, my dear." She looked at Fogkit, hoping the movement hadn't awakened her. She needed to sleep as much as she could.

Fogkit continued to sleep oblivious to everything going on around her. She was dreaming a peaceful dream about playing catch with the moss ball with her siblings.
Stonekit got to his feet and shook his pelt. "Sorry mom, I will next time." With that he turned and pounced at Tigerkit and tried to tug the moss ball out of his brothers claws. "Can we go outside and play catch mom?" He looked up hopefully. The den was so small you couldn't throw it real good like you could if you where outside. Leaving his brother and the moss ball with him he ran for the den's entrance and peeked his head out of the den. "Woo, it's huge out here. Tigerkit come and check it out."

Tigerkit jumped away from Stonekit as is brother came after the moss wad. As he asked Alusia for permission to go outside, TIgerkit waited until his mother nodded her head and smiled until he ran out into the sunlight. It was surprising how large the clearing actually was. Tigerkit stopped in his tracks, then felt someone bump into him.
As Alusia gave the toms permission to go outside for the first time, Spottedkit looked up to see if she would be allowed to go as well. With a nod of her mother, she padded after Tigerkit, only to bump into him as he stopped, "Move it, furbrain!"

Stonekit looked at the huge pile of freshkill and ran over to it. "Wow look at all that food." Looking up he grabbed something with a long fluffy tail only for it to fall on him squishing him under it's weight. He yowled in surprise. he tried to scramble out from under it but it was to heavy. A purr of laughter came from behind him.
Cherrypaw had just come out of the medicine cats den to see Stonekit race for the freshkill pile. "Well that's a first, I have never seen freshkill attack a kit before." Grabbing the squirrel she tossed it back on top of the freshkill pile. "You ok Stonekit?"

Snowfeather was startled by a purr of laughter behind her. She had been so preoccupied with sitting there, staring into the forest, that she hadn't noticed anything going on around her. She turned her head, the muscles stiff after so long. She saw one of the kits, the black and white one, get buried by a squirrel, and watched as Cherrypaw threw the fresh-kill back onto the pile, "You aren't supposed to let it squish you, little one."
Tigerkit jumpedc forward as Spottedkit bumped into him, "Sorry, sis." He moved forward, watching Stonekit get squished.
Spottedkit let out a snort, "Sure you are." She continued to where Cherrypaw was and mewed, "Hi there!"

Stonekit licked his chest fur, he was embarrassed and couldn't look up."O know that I wanted to see what it was. That's all." He padded away from his siblings, and scrambled along the tree towards another den looking area. Curiosity pricked at him until he finally looked inside. He saw his dad asleep. He ran over to his dad and pounced on him.
Dusk yowled as he felt claws sink into his pelt. Looking around he saw his son and purred. 'What are you doing in here." Picking his son up he carried him out of the den. "You shouldn't go inside the Warriors den until your a warrior yourself."
Cherrypaw smiled, "hello Spottedkit. I see you and your brothers are checking everything out. Would you like me to show you around?"

Spottedkit nodded enthusiastically, "That would be great!" She looked around, "Yeah, mom finally let us out of the den. Well, everyone except Fogkit, but she's sleeping."
Snowfeather stood up and stretched, fur standing up as her powerful muscles rippled, "I think I'll go for a walk. Cherrypaw, don't let this bunch follow me, okay?" She padded out of the camp and just wandered around for a little while.
Tigerkit raced over to his father and Stonekit, "Dad! Mom let us come out of the den, finally! Really soon, we'll be allowed to sleep in the den with you and her!"

Cherrypaw purred and nodded, "ok Snowfeather no need to worry about the toms there pestering Dusk." Turning to Spottedkit she smiled. "What would you like to see first my den, the elders, I'll let you chose."
A deep rumbling purr echoed from him. "I see that and it won't be that soon you have to be six moons just to move into the apprentices den. He gently nudged Tigerkit.
Stonekit hissed and swatted his paw at his fathers muzzle as he was carried out of the den. "I'll be a warrior real soon you'll see. I'll be the strongest and the bravest of all the warriors.
Dovestar sat just outside of her den as she watched Stonekit and Tigerkit play with there father. She looked at Spottedkit and smiled. She had high hopes for her. Jumping down she padded up to Cherrypaw and Spottedkit with her tail high up. "Why don't you show her your den and teach her to stay away from the herbs." Her voice was firm but gentle at the same time.

Spottedkit debated which place would be more interesting to see. The medicine cat den was probably going to be very interesting, with a lot of new leaves and such, but the elders would probably have some new stories. Just then, the decision was taken from her as Dovestar padded over to them and asked Cherrypaw to show her the medicine cat den. It didn't irk Spottedkit, though. She had been leaning towards that choice anyway.
Tigerkit sulked away, "Just wait and see. I'll be the greatest warrior ever." He leapt at Stonekit as soon as they were out of the den.

Dusk laughed and shook his head. "You will both make great warriors and Thunderclan would be proud to have you both." Standing up he padded to them and separated them. "Now who would like to learn a battle move hm?"
Cherrypaw looked up and wondered what Dovestar was up to. "Ok the medicinecat's den it is. Fallow me." She picked her way through the tree roots to the medicine cat's den and stepped in. "This is where I sleep back there is where Jayfeather sleeps. And in this crevice is where we keep the herbs." Reaching in she pulled out a bundle of poppy seeds. "These are poppy seeds there given to injured cats to help dull the pain it also helps a cat sleep."
Stonekit and swiped his paw against Tigerkit's muzzle when there dad asked them if they wanted to learn a fighting move. He jumped away and began jumping up and down. "I do, I do," he yowled.

Tigerkit sat up straight, "Teach me, teach me!" He wanted to learn, but Dusk would probably not like them bouncing up and down like kits, like Stonekit was doing, in fact. Warriors were supposed to act.. older. "Please, dad, teach us?"
Spottedkit followed Cherrypaw into the medicine cat den. She breathed in, taking in the scents. They smelled vaguely familiar, but in a comforting way. She looked to where Cherrypaw pointed, nodding. As Cherrypaw pointed out the place where herbs were kept, Spottedkit waited to see what she would pull out. The orange poppy head was very pretty, "Can we give some to my brothers, they might be quiet!"

Stonekit sat down and looked at his paws trying not to wiggle around.
Dusk smiled, "ok watch what I do and try copy my moves." Dusk crouched down than lept in the air as if he was jumping over a cat than spun around as he landed and swiped his paw out. He wasn't even breathing hard. "Now let me see you to try it.
Stonekit's tail swished back and forth in excitement. He than tried to copy his father. He jumped in the air but when he landed he tumbled head over heals.
Cherrypaw's jaw dropped than purred in laughter. "Yes they would be quit for a while Leafbare has only just ended and some of our herbs haven't come back yet. So we can't use these unless they are needed."

Tigerkit watched his father carefully, remembering exactly how he moved, then crouched down to try it himself. He jumped into the air, not nearly as high but his father, but he landed steadily and swung around, sheathed claws shredding the air where he had started from. "How was that, dad?"
Spottedkit sighed, "Ah well. We can try it when it's green leaf again!" She scented the air and recognized one of the scents, "Maybe we could give my mother some borage, though. Maybe it would help her have more milk for Fogkit." She didn't know how she knew what the herb did, but it was like something she had always known.

Cherrypaw purred again, "maybe we will have to wait and see. Maybe in a couple moons they will calm down some." She doubted it though. "Yes borage leaves might help. Wait how do you know that? Did Jayfeather tell you that Spottedkit?" She grabbed a was she destined to be a medicine cat to? Do you know what these are?" She pulled out four Juniper leaves." She was curious to find out if the cat just knew about the borage leaves or if she knew them all.
Dusk purred "well done Tigerkit that was great. But you want to try and push off harder from the ground so you can get higher. And Stonekit you jumped really high but you want to vision where your going to land so you can be ready when the land comes up. Now let me see you both do it again.
Stonekit whisked his tail angrily. But he shouldn't be jealous because his brother made the jump and he didn't. He still jumped higher. "Yes Dusk," Crouching down again his tail whisked from side to side as he visioned how he would land. Than pushed off the ground with all his strength never taking his eyes of his landing spot. He landed perfectly while he quickly turned and raked the invisible opponent. He purred with pride when he did it.
